Content Portfolio Manager (Publisher)

You are someone who gets energy from making decisive choices. You are at your best when there is no blueprint yet and you can provide direction yourself. You switch effortlessly between authors, subject matter experts, Product, and Tech, and you know how to strike the right tone in every conversation.

• You have at least 3 years of experience within a publishing house, during which you have been responsible for developing and managing knowledge products, for example as a publisher, content manager, or in a similar editorial/content role.

• You think strategically but do not get stuck in plans. From idea to execution, from analysis to decision: you make sure it happens.

• You let yourself be guided by data, customer behavior, and usage insights. Not by gut feeling or the loudest voice at the table.

• You are curious about AI and technology and see how they fundamentally change the way we create, unlock, and deploy knowledge. You do not wait until that change is ready; you stay ahead of it.

• You write and speak fluent Dutch. Our knowledge is Dutch, our professionals are Dutch, and you are their voice.

• Salary between €4,450 and €5,700 per month, based on 36 hours, because for us, a full-time work week is 36 hours.

• A fixed year-end bonus of 4% and profit sharing up to 6%.

• 23 vacation days and a personal choice budget of 12%, of which 8% is holiday allowance and 4% is freely deployable to purchase extra vacation days.

• A good pension scheme via PGB, including supplementary partner insurance.

• A travel allowance of €0.25 per kilometer or a public transport allowance, and we offer an attractive bicycle scheme. For employees with a commuting distance of less than 10 km or more than 60 km, we have an adjusted scheme.

Lefebvre Sdu manages one of the largest and most reliable legal and tax knowledge bases in the Netherlands. Professional literature upon which lawyers build their arguments. Training materials that help tax professionals keep up in a world that never stands still. Product documentation that helps professionals get the most out of our platforms. All that knowledge together forms the foundation of GenIA-L. It is the difference between an answer that sounds plausible and an answer a professional dares to put their name to. As Content Portfolio Manager, you are the director of your knowledge domain. You continuously look at what professionals need, which developments are moving the market, and where the opportunities lie to create more value. You determine what we develop further, what we innovate, and what no longer fits where we are going. One day you are sitting at a table with an author to translate new legislation into usable professional literature. The next day you are working with Product and Tech on how that knowledge can be used more intelligently in our AI solutions. Precisely where knowledge, technology, and business reinforce each other. This is what you will do concretely:

• You manage and develop a wide spectrum of knowledge products, from legal professional literature and training materials to product documentation and AI-driven applications.

• You collaborate with authors, subject matter experts, and editors to translate new developments in laws and regulations into knowledge that is accurate and aligns with what professionals need.

• You work closely with Product, Tech, and Data to ensure our knowledge is ready for the next generation of digital and AI-driven solutions.

• You steer based on data, customer behavior, and usage insights, and you know how to translate those insights into concrete choices about what we build and what we let go.

• You identify opportunities in the market and translate them into new initiatives that add value for professionals and for Lefebvre Sdu.

• You dare to say goodbye to what no longer works. That is just as important as building what is new.

• 2 days per week in the office in The Hague, within walking distance of Voorburg station. The rest of the week, wherever you work best.

You will join the European market leader in legal and tax knowledge. More than 200 years of verified knowledge and an AI platform already used daily by 75,000 professionals. You determine which knowledge we develop, how we use it more intelligently, and how we prepare our knowledge products for the AI revolution. We are not quite there yet.
