Head of Operations

Lefebvre Sdu might just be the oldest AI startup in the Netherlands. The technology is new, but the knowledge underneath it we have been building for 200 years. Day in, day out. Law by law. Word by word. That cannot be copied. From our Dutch office, we are building GenIA-L, part of Lefebvre Group, the European leader in legal and tax knowledge. An AI platform that embeds itself into the work of legal and tax professionals and prepares them for the future. More than 75,000 professionals work with it daily, accounting for over 100 million euros in ARR in Europe. Our team is looking for a Head of Operations who loves a broad scope.

It begins with overview. You will use the first months to understand what is happening, where the friction points are, and what is being left behind. From there, you will start building.

• You will take over IT and bring it together with Data, Program Management, Compliance, and Facilities into 1 organization.

• You will bring structure where projects have stalled, and sharpen our focus on what we do and do not commit to.

• You will build dashboards and reporting structures that show what is happening and where the opportunities lie.

• You will design the processes and governance that belong to a platform organization, without locking everything down.

• And you will actively contribute to the cultural change that accompanies this transformation, because systems change faster than habits.

You get energy from a broad, diverse scope. You love bringing clarity to complexity, getting people on board even when there is friction, and working in an organization that is not yet finished. And you are not afraid to listen and understand first, and then take decisive action.

• Extensive experience in an operational leadership role, preferably in an organization undergoing transformation.

• A proven track record in managing diverse teams, with a scope that includes IT, Data, or Program Management.

• Strong in change management. You know how to get people on board and implement structure in a way that sticks.

• Good at dashboarding and reporting. You make complex information insightful for everyone who needs it.

• You feel at home in a broad role with a large playing field.

• You speak fluent Dutch and English.
