As a Senior Software Project Engineer, you are the technical pivot in our high-end machine building projects. You do not just develop software; you help determine the direction of our software structure and ensure that our machines become smarter, faster, and future-proof.

From the start of a project, you take the lead in the software strategy. You translate complex customer requirements into a robust and scalable control solution for complete end-of-line systems. Think of machine control, robotics, servo technology, safety systems, and intuitive HMI solutions. You ensure that all software components work together seamlessly within one integrated system.

With your seniority, you look beyond the project alone. You work actively on improving our software building blocks and standardizations. You identify where systems can be made smarter, redesign existing modules, and thereby structurally raise the technical foundation of our machines to a higher level. You are a driving force behind innovation within the team.

During engineering, you are the substantive anchor point. You mentor fellow engineers, monitor software quality, and make decisions regarding architecture and implementations. Your choices have a direct impact on the performance, reliability, and maintainability of our machines.

You are also closely involved in practice. In the workshop, you test new systems together with colleagues and solve complex software challenges directly. You switch quickly between analysis and action, ensuring that machines continue to run efficiently and stably.

Additionally, you are regularly on-site at international customers to commission installations. There, you see your software come to life in fully automated production lines and ensure that everything functions perfectly within the production environment.

In this role, you are not only a software engineer, but also an architect, coach, and innovator. You bring software within our organization to a higher level and help determine how the next generation of machines is built.
