Audit Internship Special Assurance Services - Rotterdam / Den Haag

• Supporting teams in auditing subsidy accountability reports;
• Auditing financial items within subsidy accountability reports;
• Contributing to client satisfaction through careful and client-oriented support;
• Managing calendars with diverse appointments, including client contacts and team meetings.

As an intern, you will be part of the team from day one and gain a unique insight into audits of financial reporting, compliance, and operational processes. You help organizations to recognize and manage risks, and in doing so, you will regularly work on-site at the client's location. You will conduct interviews, perform sampling, and gain insight into how organizations actually function.

In addition, you will be involved in auditing (subsidy) accountability reports and testing whether these comply with laws and regulations or contractual agreements. In this way, you contribute to transparency and reliability within both public and private organizations.

Alongside your work, you will get to know your colleagues during sports tournaments, training days, and social drinks. • You are pursuing a HBO (higher professional education) or WO (university) degree in the direction of Accountancy, Business Economics, Business Administration, Business Management, or a similar field of study;
• You have a passion for numbers and a sharp eye for detail;
• You enjoy working in a team and switch effortlessly between different tasks;
• You possess excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;
• You are proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs;
• You have an affinity with (generative) AI and are motivated to apply this technology in your daily work;
• Relevant extracurricular activities are a plus.
