• A completed MBO or HBO education in one of the following fields:
  mechanical engineering, mechanics, mechatronics, or electrotechnics
• You possess a Category B driver's license

• Experience with service or maintenance in an industrial environment is a plus, but starters are also welcome
• You have technical insight and an interest in large, technical equipment
• You do not have a fear of heights and do not mind working at different locations
• You are willing to work in shift rotations and/or on-call standby services
• You communicate well in Dutch and can manage with basic English

• Salary between €3,500 and €4,700 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience

At Konecranes Port Services, you work directly on terminals and in ports. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the maintenance and service of container handling equipment. This can include mechanical parts, controls, drives, or electrical systems. Working safely and carefully is always the top priority.

Working on large port equipment in the heart of world ports.
At Konecranes Port Services, you ensure that port equipment such as mobile harbor cranes, Straddle Carriers, Automated Guided Vehicles, and Automated Stacking Cranes continue to operate reliably. You work on mechanical, electrotechnical, and mechatronic components. No two days are the same: from maintenance and troubleshooting to inspections and improvements on-site.

This position is specific to DP World Antwerp.
You will work structurally as a Service Technician at this fixed terminal, where Konecranes is responsible for the maintenance and service of the port equipment.

As a Service Technician at Port Services, you primarily work on-site at the customer's location. Your tasks are varied and practical:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of port equipment
• Troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions (mechanical, electrotechnical, or mechatronic)
• Collaborating on conversion, modernization, and improvement projects
• Performing inspections, testing, and reporting on activities
• Working according to applicable safety rules and procedures
