Do you want to make a visible contribution to the safety of the KLM fleet? Do you get energy from improving processes, influencing behavior on the work floor, and converting complex issues into practical solutions? Then the position of Business Process Management & Continuous Learning Lead is a unique opportunity.
In this role, you combine process management and continuous improvement within one of the most dynamic and technical work environments in the Netherlands. You are the driving force behind safer, more efficient, and future-proof work processes.
What you'll do
As Business Process Management & Continuous Learning Lead, you are the specialist in the field of process optimization, operational safety, and continuous learning within the hangar environment. You are in the heart of the operation and translate insights from incidents, audits, observations, risk analyses, and daily practical experiences into concrete improvements that make an immediate impact.
With your expertise in BPMN, you map processes clearly, identify opportunities for improvement, and guide the implementation of sustainable solutions. You work closely with colleagues from operations, Safety & Compliance, Quality, and management, and you know how to bring people along in change.
But your role goes beyond processes alone. You ensure that lessons from practice are not lost. In fact: you make them visible, understandable, and applicable to everyone. Through communication campaigns and Continuous Training Bulletins (CTBs), you ensure that knowledge is shared and improvements are permanently anchored in the organization.
- Initiating, implementing, and continuously improving safety and business processes;
- Modeling, analyzing, and optimizing operational processes with BPMN;
- Strengthening the safety culture and process awareness within the organization;
- Drafting and distributing Continuous Training Bulletins (CTBs);
- Advising management and operational teams on process and safety issues;
- Providing substantive contributions to audits, compliance activities, and safety programs.
This is a role with visible impact on the safety and performance of KLM Engineering & Maintenance. You will get the chance to actually improve processes, develop people, and contribute to a safety culture in which continuous learning is central.
Together, we build a safe, reliable, and future-proof maintenance organization.
How you'll work
Working from Schiphol, you will be in a unique environment where technology, safety, and operations come together daily. Here, thousands of professionals maintain aircraft that are deployed worldwide. Together, we ensure that safety is not just a requirement, but a conviction that is reflected in everything we do.
You will be given plenty of room to take initiative, implement improvements, and exert actual influence on the way we work.
You are an energetic professional who effortlessly connects safety, process management, and people-oriented change. You are analytically strong, know how to distinguish the essential from the non-essential, and move people through your persuasiveness and pragmatic approach.
