HR Business Partner

• A higher professional education (HBO) degree, for example in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a similar field. 

• Experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Advisor, or a similar role. 

• Knowledge of labor law and modern HR processes. 

• Experience with talent management, recruitment, and organizational development. 

• Strong communication skills and the ability to challenge managers in a constructive manner. 

• Salary up to a maximum of €5,500 per month based on 37 hours per week;

JYSK is a fast-growing retail chain with more than 3,000 stores in 50 countries. To support this growth logistically, the 10th distribution center is being built in Lelystad. Construction is in full swing and the distribution center is expected to be operational in early 2027.

But of course, that doesn't mean we are sitting idle until then! Currently, we are working hard from our temporary distribution center to realize a smooth transition to the new location.

That is why we are looking for an HR Business Partner who gets energy from developing people, advising managers, and building a strong organizational culture. 

In this role, you are much more than an HR advisor. You are a visible and accessible sparring partner for managers, a coach for leaders, and a driving force behind talent development. You move easily between the shop floor and the management team and know exactly what is needed to let employees and teams grow successfully. 

Together with the managers, you ensure that the right people are in the right place, that talent is developed, and that employees go to work every day with pleasure and confidence. 

As an HR Business Partner, you contribute to the further development of our logistics organization. Your responsibilities include: 

• Advising and supporting managers on HR issues, leadership, and performance management. 

• Analyzing HR data and KPIs, such as absenteeism, turnover, and employee satisfaction, and translating these into concrete improvement actions. 

• Organizing training, development programs, and initiatives for on-the-job learning. 

• Supporting managers with challenging personnel issues, including absenteeism, development, and disciplinary processes. 

• Strengthening our employer branding and employee engagement. 

• Conducting and following up on employee satisfaction surveys. 

• Monitoring HR processes, labor law guidelines, and company policy. 

• Stimulating a safe, healthy, and positive working environment in which employees can excel. 

This position offers you the chance to help build a new distribution center from the ground up. You will get plenty of room to make an impact, take ownership of processes, and establish a culture in which development, collaboration, and performance go hand in hand.
