Technical Helpdesk Internship (Operations Office)

• Studies: You are pursuing a HBO (higher professional education) degree in the field of communication/digitalization/business administration (at a Dutch HBO). 
• Skills: You can work well with MS Office and are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English. If you already have some experience working with various systems, that is certainly a plus.
• Personality: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and social skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently. 
• Availability: You can do an internship 4 or 5 days per week for a period of 5 to 6 months, including three days in the office and one remote, and one for studies, so that you have a perfect balance between working together and working independently.

As a technical helpdesk employee, you will receive incoming requests via telephone, email, or internet. You will assist customers over the phone in resolving malfunctions by handling questions about equipment and parts. You will work closely with technicians. Other duties associated with this position include:

• Resolving these malfunctions yourself via telephone or passing them on to a service technician
• Recording, modifying, and processing all actions in an administrative system
• Processing component orders for customers in the system to allow them to be handled by the warehouse
• Processing orders for relocations and reconnections in the system
• Handling and processing complaints according to established guidelines and agreements and coordinating this with the complaint owner
• Providing input to the Technical Helpdesk/Service Planning team leader for establishing, initiating, realizing, and improving the policies and processes of the Technical Helpdesk
• Taking on various projects aimed at making departmental operations run more efficiently
• Creating, improving, and implementing work instructions for departmental tasks
