Den Hartogh is building for the future. As a Junior Business Process Specialist, you will step right into a major transformation program in which we are rebuilding our central system - the foundation with which the entire organization will work. You are the link between business and technology: you map out processes and bottlenecks, devise how things can be improved, and translate that into clear building blocks for our development partners. A great starter role with plenty of room to learn and grow.
You will map out processes and bottlenecks: you analyze how the work currently flows and where it can be better, faster, or smarter;
Together with the business, you design the 'to-be' process and translate the needs into clear requirements (building blocks) for our developers;
You follow up on the construction: you liaise with the IT partner (in English), monitor whether what has been built meets the needs, and perform acceptance tests;
As a connecting link between business, IT, and process owners, you facilitate process and mapping sessions (initial focus: Procurement);
You support users in the correct use of the new system, through training and clear work instructions;
Where possible, you contribute to continuous improvement and think along about smarter processes.
You will join the program team surrounding Project TFX, in which we are building a completely new system - version 2.0 - together with our IT partner to replace the current systems. Within the Business Definition team, you will work closely with business process owners, a UX designer, and the colleagues who will eventually work with the system: account managers, planners, cost control, and M&P. The program spans several years, so you will help build something that lasts - and that makes this role a perfect springboard for your further career at Den Hartogh.
