You switch easily between technology and organization. Additionally, you are a strong personality who engages others and maintains an overview. You are also open to working evenings or weekends if necessary. You bring:

A higher professional education (HBO) diploma or working and thinking level in the field of electrotechnics
Knowledge of electrotechnical installations (motors, cabling, control cabinets)
Experience with planning or management within service and maintenance
Ability to read and interpret electrotechnical drawings
In possession of VCA-VOL and driving license B

The role

As an electrical supervisor, you are the link between planning and practice. You direct technicians and guide them in their work. Together, you ensure that electrotechnical installations in bridges, locks, and storm surge barriers work perfectly and are well maintained. You keep a cool head, even when a deadline approaches or a malfunction occurs. This is how you make a difference in projects that keep the Netherlands accessible.

What you'll do

You will work on renovation and maintenance projects in the world of bridges, locks, and water barriers. Think, for example, of complex control systems, switch cabinets, barriers, cameras, and sensors. You coordinate the activities and direct colleagues. Together with your team and any subcontractors, you solve problems, with an eye for technology and the customer. You work closely with technicians and engineers, whom you support with your technical knowledge. Your main duties are:

Coordinating and aligning electrotechnical activities on-site and in the workshop
Planning and monitoring progress, quality, and safety
Registering activities, including measurements and reports
Working both outdoors on-site and indoors in our new workshop
Consulting with clients and subcontractors regarding technical and organizational issues
