Human Resource Management Intern - starting February 2027

During this internship, you will discover different sides of the HR profession. You can gain experience with HRA processes, SA, and the associated workflows in AFAS, collaborate with our HR Business Partners, and contribute to the recruitment process. You will get the opportunity to be present at development meetings and support them with preparation or reporting. Within the HR team, there is plenty of room for initiative and deepening your knowledge in various themes such as personnel regulations, payroll administration, vitality, sustainable employability, performance development, and culture (values). This is subject to your wishes, development needs, and requirements from your studies.

One project you will definitely take on: our employee engagement survey, including analysis and drawing conclusions and potentially providing advice. You will do this based on previous research and under the guidance of an HR colleague.

Finally, there is room to play an active role in our staff association (HBM Connect), our internal communication, on social media, and other types of related activities of the HR team. Your team? It consists of three HR business partners, a recruiter, and the Head of HR.

This internship is an excellent fit for someone who likes to take responsibility and think along. Additionally:

• You are following a HBO or WO study in the direction of HR, Social and Organizational Psychology, Applied Psychology (Labor and Organization direction), or another study with a human and business component.

• Available for at least 32 hours per week.

• Knowledge of HR legislation (from your studies) is a plus.

• Eager to learn; you enjoy taking on diverse tasks, are ambitious, and curious.

• Fresh energy: you are eager to see a lot, dare to share your opinion, and are proactive.

• Team player. Whether with your direct colleagues in the HR team or colleagues from other divisions, you enjoy working together.

• Professional command of the Dutch language and good knowledge of the English language.
