Emergency Psychiatry Kennemerland (SPK) is available 24 hours a day for clients in crisis situations. In addition to crisis assessments, the team offers short-term crisis treatment with the aim of preventing or shortening psychiatric admissions.
We receive referrals from GPs, urgent care centers/ERs, mental health professionals, and relatives for acute assessments and crisis interventions. Treatment is carried out according to the Intensive Home Treatment (IHT) methodology, in which clients are treated in their own living environment as much as possible. The treatment is shaped through home visits, frequent contact, and intensive short-term (day) treatment.
You will work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, medical doctors, triage specialists, and outpatient nurses/support workers. Additionally, we work intensively with chain partners such as the police, military police, municipalities, GPs, and other healthcare institutions.
