• A completed technical HBO (University of Applied Sciences) or WO (Research University) degree.

• Translating customer requirements into technical solutions and system concepts. 

• Analyzing technical specifications and identifying potential risks. 

• Selecting and specifying drive and control components. 

• Preparing technical documentation, diagrams, specifications, and calculations.

As an Application Engineer, you form the link between customer requirements and technical solutions. You analyze complex issues, translate specifications into smart system solutions, and ensure that customers can rely on the quality and performance of the chosen application. 

You work closely with customers, sales, product specialists, and engineering colleagues. In doing so, you receive a great deal of freedom to apply your technical expertise and develop solutions that add real value. The role includes technical analysis, engineering, configuration, validation, and support during the implementation of systems. 

At the Application Engineering department, we are looking for an Application Engineer Mobile Electronics. A MEL engineer focuses on mobile applications and specifically on the control system. We use platform software for this, which we integrate into the customer's machine. For this position, you need 'mobile DNA'; the focus lies on mobile machines such as agricultural machinery, construction machinery, material handling, and special vehicles.
