  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work successfully with a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Excellent command of English, written and spoken; proficiency in Dutch is considered an asset;
  • The ability to work independently, efficiently and accurately, even when managing multiple priorities;
  • A proactive, professional and discreet approach, with the ability to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement while handling confidential information with care.

The role

As a Management Assistant, you are part of an internationally operating organisation and support a regional management team within the Marine business. You will work in a dynamic international environment where collaboration, service orientation and effective organisation are essential. In this varied role, you will have the opportunity to take initiative, take ownership and make a visible contribution to the success of the team.

What you'll do

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings and keeping track of appointments and priorities;
  • Organising business travel and coordinating visitor arrangements and logistics;
  • Supporting day-to-day business operations and ensuring that administrative and support processes run smoothly;
  • Supporting the planning, setup and coordination of team offsite meetings and events, including venue arrangements, logistics, materials preparation and on‑site facilitation to ensure smooth and effective delivery;
  • Following established processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to more efficient ways of working;
  • Working closely with the team's Business Manager to ensure that all reports, presentations, correspondence and other documents for review or signature are prepared accurately and in line with Fugro standards;
  • Liaising with managers, colleagues and other stakeholders within Fugro, as well as with external parties, to gather and share information and coordinate administrative matters;
  • Managing incoming information and correspondence and ensuring it reaches the right people in a timely manner;
  • Keeping track of action points and following up where required;
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information with care and discretion.

What will you be doing?

As a Management Assistant, you support a regional management team within the Marine business and contribute to its day-to-day operations. You ensure that administrative and organisational processes run smoothly and effectively. In addition to providing day-to-day support, you take a proactive approach to existing processes and procedures, identifying opportunities to improve the way things are organised.

You are an important point of contact and work closely with managers, colleagues and other stakeholders across Fugro, as well as with external contacts.
