To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Modeler who gets energy from the technical elaboration and modeling of electrotechnical installations. In this role, you are an important link between design and execution. You translate technical designs into clear and executable 3D models and ensure that our installations are correct down to the last detail.
You will work on diverse projects within commercial building, residential construction, and sustainability. Together with engineers, work preparers, project leaders, and technicians, you ensure that designs are technically feasible, complete, and well-executable. In doing so, you actively contribute ideas for technical solutions and contribute to the further professionalization of our BIM working methods. The DNA of Keizers: One goal. One passion. One team.
As an Electrical Modeler, you are responsible for the technical elaboration and modeling of electrotechnical installations within our projects. You translate designs, calculations, and technical principles into detailed 3D models that serve as the basis for execution.
You work closely with the engineer, work preparer, and project leader and coordinate your activities with the other disciplines within the project. In doing so, you have an eye for detail, but do not lose sight of the bigger picture. You think ahead, identify bottlenecks, and independently come up with practical technical solutions. With your technical knowledge and experience, you ensure that our electrotechnical designs are not only correct on paper, but can also be effectively realized on-site.
As an experienced Electrical Modeler, you will join a pleasant working environment with engaged colleagues, where collaboration, responsibility, and job satisfaction are central.
Additionally, you can count on:
A good salary and excellent secondary employment benefits;
Plenty of days off: 25 vacation days + 13 ATV days on a full-time basis;
A technically challenging position with a lot of responsibility and room for your own input;
A close-knit team with short lines of communication and a down-to-earth, Twente mentality;
Working on diverse and challenging projects within installation technology;
Modern software, systems, and tools to perform your work optimally;
Room for personal development and the opportunity to further specialize within BIM and electrotechnics;
An annual large family party from the VDK Group.
Furthermore, you will be involved in:
Setting up, elaborating, and managing 3D BIM models for electrotechnical installations;
Modeling, among other things, lighting, power installations, cable routes, distribution equipment, security installations, and data/communication systems;
Processing technical drawings, calculations, specifications, and changes in the model;
Checking models for technical accuracy, completeness, and feasibility;
Performing and processing clash detections and coordinating interfaces with mechanical and structural disciplines;
Creating and adjusting working drawings and details for execution;
Identifying technical bottlenecks and proposing suitable solutions;
Maintaining and keeping BIM models up-to-date throughout the project;
Coordinating with engineers, work preparers, project leaders, technicians, and external parties;
Thinking along about more efficient working methods, standardization, and further improvement of our BIM processes.
If you are the one we are looking for, please contact Jan-Willem Lueksen, Recruitment Business Partner of the VDK Group, immediately. Call or WhatsApp 06-26 51 08 83 or email j.lueksen@vdkgroep.com.
You are an experienced and independent Electrical Modeler with strong technical insight. You have a completed MBO or HBO education in Electrotechnics or Installation Technology;
You have several years of experience as an Electrical Modeler within installation technology;
You have extensive experience with BIM and 3D modeling;
You have experience with Revit and preferably also with AutoCAD;
You can read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and electrotechnical designs well;
You have knowledge of electrotechnical installations within commercial building and/or residential construction;
Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection is a plus;
Experience with systems such as Syntess / ERP is a plus;
You have a good command of the Dutch language;
You work accurately, independently, and in a structured manner;
You are a strong communicator and find it natural to collaborate with colleagues from different disciplines.
