Packaging Team Leader (all genders) in the Netherlands

• HBO working and thinking level, with technical affinity.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a production or operational environment.

• This position is graded in Hay-grade 14 (€ 3,427.99 - € 4,897.13)

As Packaging Team Leader, you lead one of our production teams in Leerdam. You are responsible for managing your team and realizing the collective objectives, aligned with the annual plan, the department strategy, and the broader organizational goals. During your shift, you bear full responsibility for the packaging process. You maintain the overview, adjust where necessary, and act as the first point of contact on the shop floor. Safety, quality, and efficiency are always central to your work.

Our location in Leerdam is one of FrieslandCampina's packaging plants in the Netherlands. Here, we package various types of cheese that are exported worldwide. In this dynamic role, you will work together with colleagues at different levels within the organization. You will get the chance to gain broad experience in the business world and make a visible contribution to the success of our location. From this location, whole cheeses and pieces of cheese are specifically packaged and exported all over the world. The cheeses that come from here can be found from Australia to your local supermarket. The factory operates 24/5 and processes approximately 120KT of cheese per year. Your team consists of a total of 7 colleagues. As Packaging Team Leader, you manage a shift of about 25-30 colleagues.
