Packaging Technologist

• Technical insight. HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level, preferably in a technical direction.
• Professional knowledge. Experience within a production environment, FMCG sector is a plus.

• An attractive salary: between €3,884 and €5,539, depending on experience and knowledge.

As a Packaging Technologist at Refresco, you are the specialist in packaging processes. You optimize and secure processes and initiate improvements that contribute directly to quality, efficiency, and stable production. With a wide variety of packaging, from cardboard packaging to PET bottles, no two days are the same. You ensure the right alignment between packaging, machine, and process and share your knowledge with the operators.

Together with production, quality, and technology, you ensure that new packaging, customer requirements, and improvements are successfully introduced on the work floor.

• Analyzing, testing, and optimizing packaging processes and initiating structural improvements;
• Guiding the introduction of new packaging and packaging processes, including validation and implementation on the production lines;
• Assessing the impact of packaging changes on quality, efficiency, machine performance, and product results;
• Performing feasibility studies, risk analyses, and improvement projects to support process optimization;
• Drafting, maintaining, and securing work instructions, specifications, and production standards and reporting on these to stakeholders;
• Acting as the technical point of contact for packaging issues and supporting and training employees in new working methods and processes.
