Job Description

As a Process Operator, you have visibility and influence on the preparation process from the control room or packaging line. You are responsible for operating and monitoring the latest (automated) systems and installations. Additionally, you are also 'in the field': you perform checks and first-line maintenance on machines and take and analyze samples for the lab. Based on these values, you adjust the process according to the process parameters. This role is one of the most important positions in our process! In our production environment, the highest safety and hygiene standards apply. Together with your team, you work every day under the motto: 'Tomorrow we will do it better than today'.

What you will do

  • You perform process controls (CCP) according to our quality assurance systems;
  • In case of deviations, you intervene immediately and ensure that everything runs smoothly again;
  • You identify and resolve minor malfunctions and maintain accurate batch records;
  • You secure installations and assist technicians during maintenance work;
  • You contribute to a safe, clean, and organized working environment;
  • You process production data independently in SAP and maintain an overview of the process;
  • You work in a result-oriented manner and actively think along about improvements. Whether it is about increasing line efficiency or solving bottlenecks: you come up with ideas;
  • Hygiene is second nature to you: you clean installations, lines, and your working environment with care and precision.

The department consists of approximately 180 colleagues and is divided into three production chains. Each chain has five teams of approximately 10 colleagues, where you report to the team leader. Together, we also strive to make our production process as sustainable and climate-neutral as possible. We are currently saving CO2 emissions equivalent to approximately 3,500 households and have reduced our natural gas consumption by almost 40%.

In the Achterhoek region of Borculo stands one of the largest factories of FrieslandCampina. Together with an enthusiastic team of approximately 350 colleagues, we are proud of what we do: Making high-quality ingredients from the milk of our dairy farmers. Ingredients to make special nutrition for people who need it badly. People who are sometimes even dependent on it, for example babies, young children, athletes, people who want to age actively, and patients. For them, we work extremely hard every day to get the most out of our milk in as good and sustainable a way as possible. Discover our ingredients location in Borculo
