HSE Specialist (all genders) in the Netherlands

• Do you have experience within a (similar) production environment in which HSE plays an important role;
• Do friends and colleagues describe you as proactive and decisive;
• Do you have a demonstrable affinity with safety, sustainability, and/or the environment;
• Are you in possession of IVK, MVK, HVK;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.

In the role of HSE Specialist, you are an important person at this production site; you are co-responsible for the safety and health of your direct colleagues and the environment. In this role, you also operate within a complex field of stakeholders; from line managers to government agencies to the experienced operator on the line. Together with the HSE manager and colleagues, you are busy every moment of the day making our production site even safer, even healthier, and even more sustainable.

• Together with the operational departments, you work on various HSE issues;
• You deal with themes such as: machine safety, explosion safety, chemistry, fire safety, and permits;
• You manage the emergency response plan and coordinate the emergency response organization (BHV);
• You support, advise, and monitor the process regarding the follow-up of safety reports and incidents;
• And you ensure an up-to-date inventory of the risks in operations and for the safeguarding of the resulting actions.

You become part of the local management and HSE network of FrieslandCampina Gerkesklooster and work daily with colleagues from Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain. The HSE team consists of two HSE specialists. Additionally, you are connected to the international HSE community of FrieslandCampina. This gives you access to a large network of specialists with whom knowledge, experiences, and innovations are exchanged.
