• Analyzing strategic, policy, and organizational issues and developing substantiated advice and options.

Public organizations face complex societal challenges and the challenge of improving their service delivery and execution. As a (senior) consultant, you investigate what is required for this: from strategic and policy choices to improvements in the organization and daily practice. You work on diverse assignments at the intersection of strategy, policy, and execution. You analyze issues regarding direction, governance, collaboration, processes, and organizational design. Together with colleagues and clients, you work on substantiated advice and help with its implementation.

You work for ministries, executive agencies, and other public service providers. Assignments vary from strategic and policy issues to organizational development and improvement of execution. You translate your findings into advice and solutions that align with public practice. Your responsibilities align with your experience. As a senior consultant, you also coordinate sub-projects or workstreams and mentor junior colleagues. You share insights from assignments and contribute to the development of our approaches. Your activities include, among other things:

You work within Public Strategy, Policy & Operations. Together, we support public organizations with strategy, policy, organizational development, and improvement of execution. You work with colleagues from Public Strategy & Policy and Public Operations. The client's needs determine which expertise we bring together. This allows you to gain experience in strategy, policy, and execution and to develop your own substantive focus. You learn from colleagues with different specialisms, share insights from assignments, and help develop our approaches. In this way, you build your own expertise and the knowledge of the team.

Our office in Amsterdam is located in the Zuidas: a vibrant place where many companies are established. In our Cross Towers, no fewer than 1,500 people are welcomed every day upon arrival. For a breathtaking view of Amsterdam, head to the 22nd floor. Collaboration takes on a new meaning through the Wavespace. • You have approximately three to five years of relevant experience with strategy, policy, transformation, organizational development, or operational improvement, preferably in consultancy or in an advisory, change, or project role within the public domain.
• You can independently perform analyses and translate findings into substantiated advice and actionable solutions.
• You have experience with advisory or change processes and can oversee the consequences of advice for execution. For the senior level, you also bring experience in coordinating workstreams or sub-projects.
• You communicate clearly with clients and other stakeholders and take into account administrative interests and the practice of public organizations.
• You have excellent command of the Dutch and English languages and have an affinity with public organizations.

• A suitable salary for your role and responsibility, depending on experience and qualifications. Plus, a good pension. Good for later. In addition to your salary, you will also receive holiday allowance and an annual bonus (depending on results and development).
• You will receive a contract for 32-40 hours per week.
• A laptop and phone that you may also use privately and a monthly internet allowance.

Often, a final conversation follows to discuss all outstanding questions.
