Transport Coordinator

• You have a relevant education or equivalent practical experience within logistics, transport, supply chain, or a similar field.
• You have experience within a transport, logistics, or supply chain environment. Experience with carriers, logistics service providers, or third-party logistics providers is a plus.
• You are comfortable working with operational information, master data, and KPIs, and you use your analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues effectively.
• You are proactive, well-organized, and able to handle multiple priorities well. You communicate clearly and know how to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• You speak fluent Dutch and English, as the role involves a lot of international collaboration. French is a strong plus due to contact with warehouse activities in Belgium.

As a Transport Coordinator, you coordinate the daily flow of goods between loading and unloading locations within the Benelux. You are an important point of contact for Essity's business teams, transport hubs, carriers, and warehouses. You ensure that transport activities run smoothly and that problems are resolved effectively.

In addition to transport coordination, you support warehouse activities at two external warehouse locations in Belgium. This gives you the opportunity to work within both transport and warehousing and to collaborate with an international network of internal and external partners.

• Transport coordination: Coordinating purchased transport from the loading location to the delivery locations within the Benelux.
• Operational support: Acting as the first point of contact for transport issues and supporting the resolution of daily operational and IT-related challenges.
• Stakeholder management: Maintaining close contact with Essity business teams, transport hubs, carriers, warehouses, Customer Service, and Supply Service.
• Issue management: Managing deviations regarding processes, systems, carriers, and master data, and contributing to the resolution of problems identified during the planning process.
• Performance monitoring: Monitoring relevant transport, distribution, and warehouse KPIs, including service levels and inventory accuracy.
• Warehouse coordination: Coordinating daily activities with external third-party logistics providers at two warehouse locations in Belgium.
• Continuous improvement: Identifying opportunities for improvement, proposing improvements, and contributing to the development of transport planning and warehouse processes.

• A dynamic role in which you combine transport coordination within the Benelux with a growing set of tasks around warehouse coordination.
• A primarily work-from-home role, with approximately one day per week at our office in Cuijk.

The role is primarily from home, with approximately one day per week at our office in Cuijk. These office days offer the opportunity to connect with colleagues and align operational priorities.
