Intermediate Operator

• MBO 3 level of work and thinking.

• Experience as an operator in a production environment; BBL students are also welcome.

• Skill in operating, setting up, and reading out machines and digital systems.

• A team-oriented and accurate professional who communicates clearly, takes responsibility for safety and quality, and actively thinks along about improvement and equipment ownership.

• You have command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

• A salary appropriate to your experience. This position falls under the Essity Hoogezand CAO in scale 5.

• A shift allowance of 27.5%

• A fixed thirteenth month and a bonus scheme (0-7%).

As a Production Operator in our 5-shift system, you ensure that our production lines continue to run continuously and safely. You work closely with your shift and monitor quality, safety, and process progress. In addition to operating the installations, you will receive a form of equipment ownership: you are a co-owner of 'your' part of the line or installation, which means you proactively contribute to maintenance, process improvement, and the identification and resolution of deviations. In doing so, you make a visible contribution to our performance and reliability.

• Production preparation: Correctly transporting and removing raw materials, materials, and waste, and performing CIL tasks.

• Line changeover: Reconfiguring and correctly setting up (parts of) the production line to ensure it can run safely and according to standards.

• Machine operation: Setting up, starting, operating, and stopping machines via digital systems.

• Process monitoring: Monitoring process parameters and quality standards and identifying deviations in a timely manner.

• Equipment ownership: Proactively overseeing the condition of your part of the line, performing first-line maintenance, identifying technical deviations, and contributing to structural improvements.

• Fault signaling: Independently resolving small disruptions and escalating larger issues in a timely manner.

• Documentation: Accurately recording material consumption, process data, and quality controls.

• Process improvement: Thinking along with and cooperating in the improvement of standards, processes, and equipment.
