Construction Planner/Estimator Renovation in the Netherlands

• The salary for this position is between € 4,291.63 and € 5,364.54 gross per month (based on 40 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience. 

• On top of salary comes a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement).

• 43 leave days according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;

• A laptop and a smartphone.

From our office in Hengelo, we work on diverse renovation and sustainability projects in the Eastern Netherlands; from high-rise walk-up flats in Drakensteijn in Almelo or Haringvliet and Dollard in Zwolle, the renovation of 1100 student housing units at the University of Twente, the sustainability of 122 homes at the Varvik in Enschede, to projects resulting from long-term collaborations with housing corporations in the region. Projects with real social impact, where people continue to live while you improve their living comfort and future-proofing.

As an Estimator/Construction Planner for Renovation and Sustainability, you will be involved in our projects from the initiation and design phase. A varied role in which estimation, construction planning, procurement, planning, and (BIM) modeling come together. Within the project, you are the pivot between preparation and execution; from the initiation phase to the end of construction planning. You analyze project information, prepare budgets, assess technical solutions, and coordinate all disciplines. You actively think along about alternative execution methods, material choices, and smart optimizations that create added value for the client and contribute to a more efficient construction process.

As soon as a project is awarded or reaches a decision-making stage, you handle the preparation and effortlessly transfer your knowledge to the execution.

You will join a close-knit team specializing in renovation, transformation, and sustainability projects. You will work intensively with project managers, project leaders, site managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. Together, you determine the best approach for diverse tasks within existing construction. Always with a sharp eye for quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. The atmosphere is informal, professional, and result-oriented, with plenty of room for your own initiative and development.
