The salary for this position is between € 4,291.63 and € 6,256.72 gross per month (based on 40 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience.
On top of the salary, there is a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement).
With a view to a long-term relationship, we offer you a permanent contract immediately.

The role

Organizing, planning, controlling, and leading. Welcome to the world of site manager at Dura Vermeer! You have daily leadership over infrastructure projects and, together with your team, you strive to deliver successful projects.

What you'll do

As a site manager, you are involved in all phases of the project to ensure that projects are not only completed on time, but also within the set budget and according to the specified quality requirements. For example, you actively participate in assessing the constructability of the design, the drawings, and the requirements so that risks can be identified and corrected in a timely manner.

We work on diverse projects in the region, such as the redesign of the Pletterijkade and Zwarteweg in The Hague, the redesign of the Raadhuisstraat in Alphen aan den Rijn, and the largest sewer replacement project in The Hague.

During execution, you monitor costs and the technical progress of the project and check for compliance with safety regulations. You are also the first point of contact for suppliers and subcontractors, and you have regular contact with the project leader to review the status of affairs. In addition to leadership, you also find it very important that there is a pleasant atmosphere and good cooperation with all stakeholders. You encourage colleagues to work together so that trust develops within the team to realize collective goals.

What you bring

You have MBO or HBO level of work and thinking, preferably in civil engineering or GWW;
You have at least 2+ years of work experience as a site manager in earthworks, roadworks, and hydraulic engineering;
You can take responsibility for the daily leadership of the execution, ensuring that activities are realized safely, with quality, and according to schedule and budget;
You have experience with planning and organizing the resources to be deployed.

For example, we recently worked on the redesign of the Raadhuisstraat in Alphen aan den Rijn, and we are currently working on the replacement of the Steekterbrug with a scope of 40 million euros. We also contribute to Bohemen, the largest sewer replacement project of the Municipality of The Hague.
