Are you studying Civil Engineering, Middle Management Infra/Civil Engineering, or Built Environment? Put your knowledge into practice on the Gasunie project in Scheemda. You will contribute to the conversion of a compressor station, learn from experienced colleagues, and discover which direction within infra suits you.

This will be your internship
Together, we will look at how your internship can align with your studies, interests, and learning goals. Do you want to discover how a project is prepared, how outdoor work is organized, or does another part of the project appeal to you? You will work alongside experienced colleagues and discover how different disciplines collaborate. Which tasks you take on will depend on your internship field and the phase of the project. You will receive good guidance, space for your school assignments, and the opportunity to do more and more on your own.

During your internship at Dura Vermeer Infra Regio Noord Oost, you will work on the Gasunie project in Scheemda. Here, we are contributing to the modification of a compressor station, which will soon be able to transport gas in two directions.

Our challenge? Installing sheet piles and excavating construction pits right next to gas pipelines that remain in regular use. That requires smart solutions, good preparation, and precise execution. We install the sheet piles without vibrations and utilize various electric machines.

Our work ranges from preparing the construction pits to backfilling and reconfiguring the site. You will discover how different specialists work together and how plans on paper become reality outdoors. What you experience during your internship depends on your interests and the phase of the project.

The project started in November 2025. Dura Vermeer's activities are expected to run until approximately June 2027. Together, we will look at what possibilities exist during your internship period.

• You are following an mbo or hbo program in the direction of Civil Engineering, Middle Management Earth, Road & Water Construction (GWW), Built Environment, or similar;

• You are looking for an internship for at least 4 days per week;

• You are proactive and dare to ask questions;

• You are flexible, can deal with changes, and work in an organized manner;

• Your heart beats faster for infra projects.

• A nice internship allowance of €700 gross per month based on 40 hours per week;

• Build your future: your internship is the perfect starting point to progress to a traineeship or starter position within Dura Vermeer;

• Room to develop yourself and let your own initiatives be heard;

• Time for your school assignments/exams;
