High Voltage Project Developer

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) or WO (university) degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Demonstrable technical knowledge of electrical engineering infrastructure.
• Experience in conducting feasibility studies and technical-financial optimizations.
• At least 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with quality assurance within various contract forms.
• Knowledge of and experience with infrastructural projects and project risk management.
• Experience in analyzing technical, spatial, and financial issues.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments.

• Knowledge of primary technology is a plus.

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

• A permanent contract with a two-month probationary period, based on 40 hours per week.
• A salary in scale 9: €4816 to €9472 per month with 8% holiday allowance and 6% year-end bonus.
• A solid pension via ABP: we pay 70% of your premium.

Together with your colleagues, you will work on the development of new high-voltage infrastructure in the South of the Netherlands, so that we can continue to provide the Netherlands with reliable energy.

As a High Voltage Project Developer (380/150 kV), you are responsible for the further elaboration of high-voltage projects within Brownfield & Maintenance South, so that the Netherlands can continue to rely on reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy.

• You work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Functional Design Developers and Portfolio Managers, to further elaborate project scope, technical solution directions, and constraints, ensuring projects are consistent with policy frameworks, requirements programs, specifications, and other projects.
• You further carry out technical and spatial feasibility studies within established search areas for high-voltage stations and connections, so that substantiated choices can be made for the further development of projects.
• You monitor the coherence between projects within the portfolio and connect project teams, disciplines, and stakeholders, so that dependencies are identified in a timely manner and managed integrally.
• During the construction and commissioning phase, you organize structural alignment with project leaders and process owners, so that bottlenecks are resolved, collaboration is strengthened, and lead times are shortened.
• You coordinate Safety & Health (S&H) within complex infrastructure projects and, as a safety coordinator, steer the design and construction phases toward safe design choices and compliance with laws and regulations, ensuring safe project realization is guaranteed.
• You advise internal and external stakeholders based on your professional expertise and oversee compliance with standards, laws and regulations, and best practices, so that high-quality and compliant results are achieved.
