The role

At Leviat, people and their expertise form the foundation for safe and high-quality structural solutions. As an Engineer, you design, calculate, and optimize solutions that help our customers realize their projects sustainably and efficiently. This role goes beyond structural drafting. We offer a thorough onboarding process to further develop your knowledge and skills, with an emphasis on safety, precision, and strict compliance with rules and procedures within our department.

Visualizing projects with logic and realizing structural solutions.

Leviat is a growing organization due to the increasing need for structural solutions. We are looking for a structural engineer who ensures accurate designs and calculations, essential for realizing our technical solutions. This role is of great importance for streamlining various processes including drawings, calculations, planning, procurement, delivery, and administration. Are you a structured thinker who applies logic to the work process?

What you'll do

With guidance from an experienced buddy, you will learn the processes and programs for project completion and customer delivery. Your tasks are:

  • designing technical solutions (facade supports, lifting devices, connection elements, etc.);
  • performing structural calculations and analyses;
  • planning projects and coordinating procurement;
  • maintaining administration.

You will work closely with contractors' site managers and sometimes architects to solve issues. Accuracy and a systematic approach are essential. Do you want to know more about the onboarding process? Feel free to ask your questions.

What makes the position unique?

As a structural engineer at Leviat, you work in a specialized niche within construction, focused on the engineering of custom facade and lintel systems. This requires in-depth knowledge of structural details, such as anchorages and prefab elements, as well as creativity and adaptability, because every project presents unique requirements (weight, color, and detailing of facades). In this role, you work closely with site managers, allowing your communication skills and customer-oriented approach to shine. You combine creating designs with project management.

You use multiple software programs, such as Tekla, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam, where insight into both 2D and 3D and the ability to foresee complex structural changes are important. Under the four-eyes principle, your work is carefully checked due to the risks in these construction structures, making the position suitable for an engineer who takes responsibility for quality and safety. Finally, you contribute to the aesthetic and architectural aspects of the design, which makes this role extra unique.

What does Leviat truly offer?

With us, you don't just get a job, but an opportunity to take your career to a higher level.

  1. Market leader in innovative construction technology

Leviat is not just any player in the construction sector; we are a global market leader in lifting, connection, and anchorage systems. Our solutions make building not only safer, but also more efficient, stronger, and more sustainable. You will work for a company that continuously invests in innovation and the development of sustainable construction solutions. This means that you not only tackle technical challenges but also contribute to a future-proof construction sector.

Leviat believes in sincere collaboration with customers. This makes your role versatile and ensures that you have a direct impact on the success of construction projects.

  1. Buddy system: being onboarded by an experienced colleague
  • Every new employee is assigned a personal buddy. This is an experienced colleague who helps you with:
  • Practical matters: such as finding your way around our systems and processes.
  • Technical issues: your buddy is your first point of contact for substantive questions and shares valuable practical experiences.

At Leviat, we strive to be the best in what we do, but we also understand that no company is perfect. We learn and grow together, remaining open to feedback and continuously striving for improvement. We believe this: it is the people who make the difference. At Leviat, you don't just help build innovative solutions, but also an organization that constantly wants to improve itself.
