Do you get energized by impressive rail projects such as the expansion of the track and station in Nijmegen or the renewal of the railway siding in the heart of Amsterdam? Do you want to contribute to a more sustainable Netherlands with the construction of the Merwede Ring Line near Dordrecht? And does it seem interesting to you to work on the improvement of the international IC connection between Düsseldorf and Eindhoven? Then the role of cost expert at Dura Vermeer Railinfra is truly for you! In this position, you are the connecting link in preparing winning bids for large-scale, multidisciplinary rail projects.
As an experienced cost expert for overhead lines and supporting structures, you are responsible for the entire pricing process. You independently prepare estimates and cost budgets and provide solid, well-substantiated pricing advice. You guide and coach junior colleagues and introduce them to the profession. You do this both during the tender phase and during realization. You advise on contract and scope interpretation, the pricing strategy, and the necessary design and realization details. You weigh different variants and incorporate sustainability, safety, innovation, opportunities, and risks into your approach. With your overview and depth, you ensure a sharp and competitive bid. You dare to ask questions, challenge choices, and make proposals that make a difference. If you see things differently than others, you take on that role and lead the conversation. You are a fixed sparring partner within the tender team and work closely with colleagues from realization. At the end of the process, you stand behind the cost and can explain it convincingly. What makes this role strong? You are a true specialist with responsibility and mandate. You have influence on the plan, the contract, and the bid, and you are involved from start to finish. If you have ideas on how to do things smarter, better, or differently, it is precisely expected that you bring them forward. Here, you are given the space to further expand your expertise and provide direction to the field.
