Do you want to calculate, optimize, and truly make a difference in residential renovations and commercial renovation projects? At Dura Vermeer Bouw & Vastgoed Amsterdam, you will get the chance to leave your mark as an estimator (or cost expert) on challenging projects where existing buildings are given a new lease on life. You make costs transparent, manage risks, and ensure that projects are financially feasible and future-proof. Do you enjoy working on the renovation of residential and commercial buildings within complex urban challenges? And do you think along with us about smart, sustainable, and innovative solutions? Then we would love to meet you.
As an estimator / cost expert at Dura Vermeer Bouw & Vastgoed Amsterdam, you are the specialist in pricing within residential renovations and commercial renovation projects. From the initiation phase through to the construction agreement, you steer the financial feasibility of projects.
You work closely with project managers, design leaders, and colleagues from the head office. Together, you determine the best approach for complex tasks within existing construction. You translate plans into clear budgets, cost overviews, and risk analyses.
Whether it concerns the renovation of residential complexes or the renewal and sustainability of commercial buildings: you see opportunities to build smarter, more efficiently, and more innovatively. During tender phases, you prepare indicative estimates and tender budgets and actively contribute ideas for optimizations that add value for the client.
Additionally, you contribute to the further development of the estimation process, for example in the areas of digitalization, BIM, and new techniques such as 3D and virtual reality.
From our office in Amsterdam, you will work on residential renovations and commercial renovation projects in the Greater Amsterdam region. Think of making the existing housing stock more sustainable and renewing commercial buildings within the city.
You will join a close-knit team of estimators and cost experts, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central. At the same time, you work intensively with colleagues from project management, design, and execution. The atmosphere is informal, professional, and result-oriented, with plenty of room for your own initiative and development.
Together, we work on future-proof solutions in existing construction - with an eye for quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can notice that. In how we work together, look out for one another, and build with an eye for future generations. Since 1855, we have been building the Netherlands, in residential construction, utility construction, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the basis for this.
With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we belong to the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, for us, it is not about those figures. It is about people. About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of – iconic and close by – and contributing to solutions for societal issues.
Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with engaged people. That is why we invest in good employer ship and a working environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and make more together with us.
Do you not see yourself in all the points, but think this position suits you? We would love to meet you!
