• Planning and maintaining trip schedules, tailored to product, driver qualifications, and customer wishes;

• Monitoring transports and identifying delays or changes;

• Clear communication with drivers and colleagues regarding planning changes;

• Providing clear instructions to drivers, including via satellite systems;

• Planning maintenance and inspections of equipment in consultation with Fleet Services;

• Processing planning data in our Transport Management System (TMS).

In the position of Country Team Operator, you will support the optimal deployment of drivers and equipment, such as containers and tractors. You will be part of a planning team of 21 colleagues, which is responsible for transport planning in the Netherlands and Belgium. Additionally, you will work together with colleagues worldwide. Together, we ensure that Royal Den Hartogh Logistics makes a difference in international logistics every single day.

We specialize in intermodal transport: from road transport to rail and ferry. In doing so, we also coordinate subcontractors, whom we view as an extension of our own team. With us, you will get plenty of room to learn and develop yourself within a dynamic logistics environment.

• MBO or HBO working and thinking level, preferably with a completed education in logistics, transport, or planning;

• Ambitious, motivated, and stress-resistant, with a creative and solution-oriented mindset;

• A true team player with strong communication skills, both towards drivers and office colleagues;

• Willing to work in the evenings or on weekends in the long term, of course with appropriate compensation and good guidance;

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written; German is a plus.
