HR Operations Team Leader

• HBO level in the direction of HR, business administration, or similar;

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (labor law, payroll tax, GDPR);

• Demonstrable experience in a P&C administrative role; experience with Workday is a plus;

• Previous experience in a leadership or coordinating role (people management) — this is a plus;

• Quality-oriented, controlling, and connecting: you safeguard processes while simultaneously developing your team.

• A suitable salary between € 4,911.- to € 6,813,- gross per month (based on full-time), depending on your experience, plus 30 vacation days, 8% holiday allowance, a holiday bonus of € 550,- gross, travel allowance, and a good pension scheme;

As HR Operations Team Leader, you lead the team that keeps the foundation of good employerhood at Den Hartogh in order: payroll, P&C administration, and absenteeism. You manage four colleagues: a Payroll Specialist, two People & Culture Assistants, and an Absence Case Manager, and you ensure the quality, timeliness, and compliance of the processes.

You do not execute the payroll yourself. You monitor its accuracy through controls and spot checks and serve as the first point of escalation for complex cases. You report to the People & Culture Manager and work closely with the People & Culture Manager on system issues (Workday/ADP) and audits. In this way, you combine people management with a strong, controlling responsibility.

• Team Management: you manage four colleagues daily, coach your team, and conduct performance and appraisal interviews;

• Payroll Quality Assurance: you check the payroll processing in a risk-oriented and sample-based manner for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness, and you monitor compliance with laws and regulations (payroll tax, collective labor agreement, GDPR);

• Case Management: you firmly establish the case manager role within the organization and, together with the case manager, create a plan for the coming years;

• Systems: from People & Culture, you are responsible for the systems (Workday/ADP), you are the first point of contact for IT, and you lead improvement projects.

• Reporting & Process Improvement: you identify bottlenecks and propose concrete improvements for processes and system usage.
