The role

As a Supply Chain Planner, you are responsible for optimal stock and forecasting for all products within your team. You achieve this through data analysis of, for example, the stock in our Warehouse, (re)ordering products from your product category, and coordinating with various departments, colleagues, and suppliers. Does your buyer want to purchase more products because a promotion is coming up? Then you provide advice. Is an order at risk of being delivered late? Then you enter into discussions with the relevant supplier. Do you want to contribute to the success of Coolblue? Then be sure to read on!

What you'll do

  • Daily reviewing your dashboard to see if your forecast, based on the market demand for a specific product, has changed from the previous period.
  • Contacting suppliers to discuss deliveries and resolving any potential issues.
  • Coordinating with various departments within Coolblue, including the warehouse in Tilburg. You are a central figure in the web.
  • Always striving for optimal stock for your product group and carrying this responsibility.
  • Solution-oriented thinking; urgent matters and ad-hoc tasks are no problem for you.
  • Identifying pain points in the supply chain and working together with your colleagues to find solutions for them.
