Are you at home in the world of trucks, chassis, and technical parts? Do you maintain an overview of the inventory and understand what a workshop needs to continue working? Then we are looking for you. For our workshop, we are looking for a Parts & Inventory Coordinator who will be responsible for the availability, ordering, and administrative processing of parts for our tractors, trucks, and chassis.
You are much more than just responsible for the warehouse. You are the link between inventory and operations. Together with the planning department and foremen, you look ahead to the scheduled work. Is a part missing? Then you don't wait, but you take action. You have contact with suppliers, look for a solution, and keep the involved colleagues informed. In addition, you will receive the freedom and responsibility to constantly improve the inventory process.
As Parts & Inventory Coordinator, you are responsible for the inventory and parts process within our Workshop. You look ahead. Based on the workshop planning, you know which vehicles are arriving for maintenance or repair and ensure that the necessary parts are available in a timely manner.
Managing and optimizing the parts inventory for our trucks, chassis, trailers, and tanks, including minimum stock levels and inventory counts;
Ordering parts from suppliers and dealers and actively monitoring delivery times and outstanding orders;
Looking ahead with the planning department, foremen, and Workshop Manager to ensure that necessary parts are available in a timely manner;
Receiving, checking, and administratively processing parts, including correct processing on work orders;
Identifying inventory discrepancies and obsolete stock and actively contributing ideas for a smarter, clearer, and further digitized inventory and warehouse process.
