A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in a technical direction;
Relevant work experience in network management, infrastructure management, or a comparable technical environment.
Concrete and demonstrable technical experience with HFC networks from the LC to the home connection.
Experience with contractors, technical audits, and quality processes.
A proactive attitude, in which you identify opportunities, show ownership, and actually realize improvements.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different disciplines and organizational levels.
A VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct) is mandatory for this position. The application will be started by DELTA after the employment contract has been signed. The costs for the VOG will be reimbursed by us.
A salary between € 4,206 and € 6,008 gross per month (based on 40 hours), matching your experience and impact;

As Technical Manager HFC, you are responsible for maintaining, managing, and further optimizing our HFC network infrastructure with approximately 300,000 connections. You monitor the technical quality, performance, and future-proofing of the network by analyzing faults, availability, and quality data and developing improvement initiatives based on them. You direct maintenance and improvement programs, assess execution by contractors, and ensure that the network complies with applicable technical standards, laws and regulations, and internal quality standards. In doing so, you are the subject matter authority in the field of HFC networks and advise stakeholders on technical choices, risks, and improvement measures.
Additionally, you ensure a solid technical foundation for both the management and further development of the network. You establish technical frameworks and requirements programs, assess designs and proposals from contractors, and ensure that new projects are realized and delivered according to the agreed quality requirements. You initiate audits, perform risk analyses, and ensure that improvement points are actually implemented. You also closely follow technological developments within the field and translate these into concrete applications for DELTA Fiber. In multidisciplinary projects, you provide technical expertise, safeguard knowledge within the organization, and contribute to a reliable, safe, and future-proof HFC network.
Safeguarding the technical availability, quality, and performance of the HFC network by analyzing faults, availability data, and quality reports.
Initiating, assessing, and directing maintenance and improvement programs, including managing the execution by contractors and other external parties.
Performing risk analyses, advising management and stakeholders on technical risks, and monitoring the implementation of approved measures.
Drafting and managing technical frameworks, architecture principles, and requirements programs, and testing designs, changes, and new projects against these.
Initiating audits, monitoring quality improvements, and ensuring that improvement points are structurally implemented within the organization and the network.
Providing technical expertise within multidisciplinary projects, following relevant developments in laws and regulations and technology, and translating these into concrete improvements for the HFC network.
