What we're looking for

MBO level 3/4 working and thinking level;
Extensive technical knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering/mechanical maintenance to be able to perform complicated work;
Leadership capabilities, focused on the execution of work in a team setting and stimulating team spirit within the company;
Knowledge of materials and tools;
Oral and written knowledge of the English language.

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

For this position, the salary is between € 3,500 and € 4,500 gross per month (based on full-time employment), excluding holiday allowance. We determine the exact grading based on your knowledge and experience. This position falls under the CAO Metalektro;
27 vacation days and 13 ADV days based on full-time employment;
PME pension scheme with an employer contribution of 60%;

Damen Shiprepair Vlissingen specializes in the maintenance, repair, and conversion of ships and other maritime objects. The role

Are you a born leader with a passion for technology? As a Mechanical Maintenance Foreman, you play a crucial role in the execution of production technical activities within your project. You report to the Mechanical Maintenance Production Coordinators and have the responsibility to lead and motivate a large group of employees when performing complex technical tasks.

Key accountabilities

In this dynamic role, you ensure that your team performs optimally and that the schedule is met. You keep a close eye on progress and report on this to the production coordinator. Furthermore, you roll up your sleeves and work alongside the team where necessary. Additionally, you are the one who arranges and orders the necessary materials, so that everything runs smoothly.
