As a trainee, you will get the chance to gain experience within various disciplines at Countus for one year. You will discover where your talents lie, develop both professional and personal skills, and contribute to the success of our clients.

Together with your manager, you will map out a route that aligns with your ambitions. You will start in accountancy and subsequently get acquainted with business consultancy, entrepreneurial advisory, and other specializations within Countus.

Your duties include

• Supporting administrative processes, from processing to annual accounts;

• Analyzing financial data and management information;

• Preparing benchmark data and reports;

• Collaborating on entrepreneurial and business plans;

• Preparing and supporting client meetings;

• Developing advisory skills and identifying opportunities for clients.

You will work for entrepreneurs within the SME and agricultural sectors. As a result, you will deal with a great diversity of issues in the financial, tax, and business administration fields.

During your traineeship, you will rotate between the offices in Zeewolde, Dronten, and Emmeloord. This allows you to get to know different teams, clients, and specialisms and discover which working environment suits you best.

• A completed HBO or WO degree, or you are nearing graduation;

You will work within the West cluster, where the Zeewolde, Dronten, and Emmeloord offices work closely together. You will work alongside accountants, assistant accountants, entrepreneurial advisors, business specialists, and other professional specialists.

Within the teams, guidance, development, and collaboration are central. You will be given plenty of space to ask questions, gain new experiences, and explore different directions. Thanks to the short lines of communication and open culture, you will quickly get to know colleagues and build a broad network within Countus.
