We are looking for someone who wants to discover where your strength lies within the Agri & Food sector. Someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty (figuratively), and speaks the language of our customers. The link between the farm and the accounting. At aaff, we invest in you, so that you can discover where your passion lies - sales, business consultancy, or Accountancy. Will you become one of our 2000 co-owners?
What are you going to do as a finance Agri & Food trainee in Roosendaal?
As a finance Agri & Food trainee at aaff, you will work in a dynamic environment where you can learn and grow a lot. In your role, you help entrepreneurs move forward by providing insight into their financial situation and making the administration simple and valuable. You do this via the telephone, at the customer's location, and at the office. Your customers are start-ups, family businesses, or established companies in the agricultural sector, and you can work at the office that is most accessible to you: Terneuzen, Boxmeer, Uden, Den Bosch, Helmond, or Heythuysen.
During the three-year finance Agri & Food traineeship, you will follow a tailor-made trajectory, with attention to both technical expertise and skills, in which you will get to know business consultancy, accountancy, and sales. You will learn how to advise with impact: by listening well, by asking questions, and by communicating with confidence. You will contribute to strengthening customer relationships and develop yourself into an advisor who thinks ahead, connects, and shows ownership in both work and growth. You will not do all of this alone. From day one, you will be assigned a coach to help you on your way, and you will join a close-knit, engaged team of, among others, (business) advisors and (assistant) accountants, where work and collegiality come together. This is about more than just work: we show sincere interest in each other and help when needed. With our extensive experience and flexibility, we respond smoothly to changes and tackle challenges together.
What can you expect during the Finance Agri & Food traineeship?
During the three-year traineeship, your professional and personal development is central. You will actively work on building your knowledge, skills, and self-confidence, and gain extensive knowledge of the various services within aaff. Additionally, you will develop technically through practical training and coaching. You will follow training on bookkeeping, the financial monitor, reporting, customer-oriented communication, business monitoring, tax returns & legal forms. You will be deployed increasingly broadly and flexibly within the organization, and together with your experienced coach, you will apply what you have learned in practice. Throughout the trajectory, you will be given the space to deepen your knowledge in the direction that suits you best. Whether that is accountancy, business consultancy, or sales.
Supporting customer management, business consultancy, and accountancy-related activities.
Collaborating on interim reports and customer advice.
Actively contributing to customer-oriented solutions within the Agri & Food sector.
Thinking along about process improvements and sharing valuable insights from your learning experiences.
