Vialis Traineeship

Have you just (nearly) completed your studies in a technical field and are you eager to put your knowledge into practice? Within our Traineeship, you can develop yourself and discover which role suits you best.

Perhaps you will become our future site manager, project coordinator, product engineer, design leader, estimator, or software developer. If so, the Traineeship at Vialis is for you!

The traineeship program is an individual development track tailored to you. It offers you the opportunity to discover your talents, apply them in practice, and develop further. Together with your mentor and the Traineeship coordinator, you will determine which experiences best align with your development. We offer you opportunities and freedom of choice, but you must also demonstrate ownership. By working in different parts of our company and collaborating with our enthusiastic and helpful colleagues, you will discover which role suits you best. This way, you have a direct influence on your personal growth and development!

The Traineeship is an intensive 18-month program in which you gain knowledge and experience in different roles within various departments of Vialis across three 6-month periods. Think of roles such as Site Manager, Work Preparer, Design, Product Engineer, or Software Developer.

You will complete these periods within different business units: the Maintenance & Projects business line, the Products & Services business line, the Corporate Office, or the Contract Management department.

At the start of your Traineeship, you will be assigned a mentor. Your mentor is part of our management and will continue to guide you throughout your entire Traineeship. For each period, a practical supervisor will be assigned who will guide, direct, and coach you both professionally and personally at the workplace.

You will have interim evaluation meetings where you can brainstorm about the content of the periods, various issues, and your personal development plan. Additionally, your mentor will help you build a network within Vialis.
