As a Corporate Finance Advisor, you are the point of contact for clients during acquisition and sale processes, business transfers, and financing issues. You analyze figures, investigate opportunities and risks, and translate complex financial information into clear advice that entrepreneurs can act on immediately.

You work closely with fellow specialists within Countus and, in addition, guide junior colleagues and interns in their development.

Your duties include

• Guiding entrepreneurs during business acquisitions, business sales, and financing issues;

• Preparing valuation reports, forecast models, information memoranda, and financing applications;

• Performing financial analyses and supporting due diligence processes;

• Identifying opportunities and risks and translating these into clear and practical advice;

• Collaborating with clients, colleagues, and external parties throughout the entire process;

• Guiding and coaching junior colleagues and interns.

Your base is Zwolle, but you will regularly travel to clients in the region or elsewhere in the Netherlands. The position offers a nice balance between client visits, working from home, and collaborating at the office.

You work for a broad and diverse client portfolio. Think of entrepreneurs within SMEs, family businesses, agricultural enterprises, and large corporate organizations facing important strategic choices.

Whether it concerns a business transfer, growth financing, or an acquisition, you help entrepreneurs make well-founded decisions and guide them throughout the entire process.

When is the position of Corporate Finance Advisor a good fit for me?

You will certainly feel at home here if you are entrepreneurial, enjoy switching between clients and colleagues, and get energy from complex advisory issues. You enjoy guiding entrepreneurs through important decisions and know how to convert financial analyses into practical and strategic advice.

You recognize yourself in:

• A completed HBO or WO degree in Business Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or similar;

• At least three years of experience within Corporate Finance, M&A, or Mergers & Acquisitions;

• Experience with acquisition, valuation, and financing processes;

• Strong analytical, financial, and advisory skills;

• Commercial and communication skills, combined with a proactive and result-oriented attitude;

• Interest in guiding junior colleagues. A Register Valuator (RV) or Register Advisor Business Succession (RAB) title, or the ambition to obtain one, is a plus.

You will join Countus Fusies & Overnames, an ambitious and close-knit team of four professionals. Due to the compact size, you will receive a lot of responsibility, direct influence on projects, and plenty of room to further build upon your own expertise.

Although Zwolle is your home base, you will work extensively at client sites and maintain close contact with colleagues from other offices and specialist teams within Countus. With 25 locations and various expertise teams, a network of colleagues is always ready to brainstorm with you.
