As an Assistant Accountant, you are an important sparring partner for both clients and colleagues. You work independently on annual accounts, tax returns, and financial issues. In doing so, you look beyond just the numbers and actively think along about improvements and opportunities for entrepreneurs.

You help clients gain insight into their financial situation and translate figures into practical advice. Additionally, you contribute to the development of the team by sharing your knowledge and experience with junior colleagues.

• Independently preparing annual accounts;

• Drafting and preparing tax returns;

• Identifying advisory opportunities and points for improvement;

• Participating in and preparing client meetings;

• Guiding and coaching junior colleagues;

• Contributing to quality improvement within the team.

You will work primarily for agricultural entrepreneurs active in a sector that is constantly in motion. Through close contact with clients, you will get to know their business well and can think along about financial issues, challenges, and opportunities for the future.

Together with colleagues, you support entrepreneurs with reliable figures, practical insights, and expert advice that aligns with their daily business operations.

You will certainly feel at home here if you like taking responsibility, working independently, and get energy from contact with clients. You enjoy helping entrepreneurs move forward and actively thinking along about opportunities and improvements.

Additionally, you work accurately, possess strong analytical skills, and like to contribute to the development of colleagues and the quality of service.

You recognize yourself in:

• A completed HBO degree in Accountancy, Business Economics, or similar;

• A few years of experience as an Assistant Accountant;

• A customer-oriented and communicatively strong attitude;

• An analytical and accurate way of working;

• The drive to take initiative and continue developing yourself;

• Affinity with the agricultural sector or the willingness to deepen your knowledge in this area.
