A completed mbo, hbo, or wo degree in Civil Engineering or similar;
At least 3 years of experience as a work preparer in the construction sector;
Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail;
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
You are accustomed to working with BIM models;
You are available for at least 32 to 40 hours per week.

What you'll get

The salary for this position for a medior profile is between € 4,291 and € 6,256 gross per month (based on 40 hours) and for a senior profile between € 5,005 and € 7,049 (based on 40 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience.
On top of salary comes a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement).
With a view to a long-term relationship, we offer you an indefinite contract after a 2-month probationary period.
43 leave days according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;

The role

This will be your job

From the very first moment, you will be involved in our challenging construction projects within the utility and residential sectors. You ensure smart and realistic project planning and monitor progress with a sharp eye for detail. You adjust where necessary and ensure the team always stays on track.

Finances? You know exactly what is going on. You maintain a sharp view on costs, so that projects remain within the financial frameworks. You purchase materials in a timely and thoughtful manner and select the best partners in doing so, so that nothing stands in the way of progress. You switch effortlessly between suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. With your communication skills, you prevent surprises and solve problems before they escalate.

You use BIM to ensure that all technical disciplines connect seamlessly. You are also the point of contact for the execution team during implementation. You create clear work instructions, create clear overviews of planning, and constantly monitor quality, safety, and progress. In addition, you identify extra and reduced work and process these directly into the planning and budget.

Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Rotterdam is a large operating company within the Dura Vermeer Group and operates as a developing builder in the South Holland region. We specialize in building homes, both multi-story and ground-bound, and utility buildings, with a focus on new construction projects.
