In this position, you use various systems, including Autocad; experience with this system is a must for performing this role, as we can teach you all other systems. To make you proficient in these systems quickly, it is important that you enjoy delving into them. Additionally, accuracy and an affinity with technology/telecom are very important for the position of work preparer, as you ultimately ensure that the technician knows what he must do.

A salary between €3,391 and €3,889 based on 38 hours, in accordance with the CAO Small Metal and Engineering.
25 vacation days and 13 ADV days, based on full-time employment.

At the Management and Assurance department, we are looking for a work preparer. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the telecom connections are installed in the correct manner!
As a work preparer at the Management and Assurance department, you switch frequently between different tasks. For example, you are the point of contact for your colleagues (technicians) in the field and our subcontractors. You ensure that they are provided with all the information and resources (think of aerial work platforms, fencing, etc.) that they need to be able to carry out the work properly and safely!
You switch frequently with municipalities to apply for the correct permits and draw up a traffic plan. You ensure that the technicians know how to find the correct cable and can excavate it in the street without too much searching.
You do this by creating work drawings (using Autocad and Cocon) and adding these to the order. Additionally, you ensure the correct documentation and processing of damage files.
The activities and therefore also your workdays are very diverse! Communication is very important for this; you handle emails and are continuously switching with colleagues, municipalities, technicians, subcontractors, and supervisors to collectively reach a workable solution.
Given the frequent switching with various parties, it is important that you are well-versed both in writing and orally. Additionally, you possess:
