The role

In this role, you will work 50% within a multidisciplinary (Mechanical, Electrical, and Software) Product Group and 50% for our service department. One day you are designing electrical schematics for one of our new machines, and the next day you are investigating how to innovate an existing installation.

Within Service, you will deal with upgrades, modifications, and improvement projects. You will also analyze how old machines are constructed and look at how these can be improved with modern techniques. Additionally, you will work on custom solutions for machines from different generations.

If you get energy from variety, can switch gears quickly, and enjoy solving technical problems for which there isn't always a standard answer, then this is the perfect role for you! Furthermore, almost everything you design is built in our own Assembly Hall. You will see your designs actually come to life, and you will also be regularly asked for technical advice during the construction process.

What you'll do

  • Designing and adapting electrical schematics in EPLAN

  • Performing power and safety calculations

  • Developing upgrades and modifications for existing machines

  • Analyzing existing installations and determining which improvements are possible

  • Providing advice on new technologies and their impact on existing installations

  • Collaborating intensively with other disciplines, such as mechanical, software, and service engineers.

  • Supporting technical issues from service projects and urgent customer inquiries
