Waitress/Waiter Foodyard

• Salary: 2875-3171 per month based on 40 hours per week

If you love the dynamics of hospitality and events, but want to keep your weekends free, this is a unique opportunity. In addition to the reception area for our guests, Foodyard is the inspiration space for the hospitality entrepreneur and chef. As Foodyard Event Manager, you are the face and the driving force behind our Foodyard. You coordinate inspiration sessions from start to finish, in which we take customers and prospects through the latest developments and trends in hospitality. Additionally, you welcome our visitors and personally handle the light catering for our guests.

• Organizing and hosting sessions: You organize and coordinate inspiration sessions and meetings for our customers and suppliers. You are the familiar face of the location, for example receiving speakers and ensuring that visitors have everything they need.

• Providing light catering: No complicated menus, but you will independently prepare light catering (such as snacks or a light lunch) in our professional kitchen. You will also handle the shopping and ordering yourself.

• Location management: You ensure that the spaces always look sleek and inviting for our guests. Additionally, you coordinate with our marketing team regarding the schedule, so they can ensure that the sessions in the Foodyard are well promoted.

• Social media: As the face behind our online channels, you will take full charge of the social media for our location. You are responsible for the entire creative process, from ideation and creation to filming and posting content. You will be given all the freedom to turn creative ideas into cool reels, posts, and stories.

Precisely because this role is so versatile, your workday flies by. One moment you are behind the computer working out a schedule or calling a supplier, the next moment you are in the kitchen providing light catering or setting things up invitingly. You run our Foodyard largely independently; you manage your own day and maintain calm when a large group of guests arrives at once.

• Level: You have at least an MBO (vocational) level of working and thinking. Do you already have experience in hospitality, catering, or event management? Then that is a major advantage.
