Intern account manager

• Salary: € 2,800.- to € 3,235.- gross per month based on 36 hours

• 13x salary: We pay your salary every 4 weeks, so you receive wages 13 times per year.

To be clear from the start: from our Den Haag/Poeldijk location, you will be the reliable support for the field account managers. You will dive into sales figures, monitor turnover and margins, and ensure our Amsterdam hospitality customers are optimally served via telephone.

• Supporting the field service: You ensure that appointments are prepared so that the account manager knows exactly which points to discuss to increase customer value and improve the relationship.

• Monitoring figures & margins: Through your commercial insight, you monitor ordering patterns and profit, and provide advice based on those findings.

• Managing your own customers: You maintain telephone contact with your own group of hospitality customers, think proactively with them, and promote (new) products and services.

This is an inside sales position at our Den Haag/Poeldijk location. You will conduct many telephone calls daily and must enjoy taking proactive action towards customers and prospects. You must be able to substantiate decisions well with figures from Excel, especially when margins are under pressure. This requires decisiveness, analytical insight, and a healthy dose of perseverance.
