Director Defense

• At least 10 years of experience in consultancy, transformation, strategic advisory, business development, or client development within a complex environment.
• Experience within Defense, the security domain, the public sector, the Defense industry, technology, or a similar complex environment, with a relevant or growing network.
• Experience in developing client relationships, stakeholder management, recognizing strategic opportunities, and translating client questions into valuable solutions.
• University (WO) level of working and thinking, developed through education and/or equivalent experience, with analytical ability and a pragmatic, connecting style.
• Affinity with digital transformation, AI, operational readiness, supply chain optimization, resilience, security, or strategic collaboration, and an understanding of the possibilities, limitations, and impact of AI within the field.

As Director Defense, you operate at the intersection of strategy, technology, organizational change, and execution. You help organizations within the Defense domain to become digitally stronger, more agile, and operationally future-proof, and you transform complex challenges into concrete results.

In this role, you will work on:

• Building sustainable client relationships within Defense, the Defense industry, and related security, public, or technology domains.
• Recognizing strategic opportunities and translating them into relevant propositions, collaborations, and societal value.
• Guiding client conversations, tenders, and commercial processes based on trust, substance, collaboration, and long-term impact.
• Translating client questions into practical advisory and change programs where strategy, organization, and technology converge.
• Working on digital strategy, operating models, GenAI, operational readiness, supply chain optimization, resilience, and strategic collaboration.
• Guiding multidisciplinary teams, coaching colleagues, and connecting different expertise to arrive at actionable solutions.
