Sourcing Manager (Private Label)

• You have an HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level and at least 3 years of relevant work experience

• You have experience within purchasing, category management, or sourcing (preferably in food, retail, or FMCG)

• You are curious and enjoy researching markets, products, and suppliers. You spot opportunities quickly.

• You work in a structured manner and maintain an overview, even when multiple projects are running simultaneously.

• You have persuasiveness and courage, meaning you do not shy away from complex decisions. Additionally, you know how to involve stakeholders in the choices.

• You communicate easily in Dutch and English.

• Money, of course. Between € 5,555 and €6,865 gross per month based on 40 hours per week; the grading depends on knowledge and experience.

You will receive a lot of responsibility here. Your categories are truly yours, and your choices are reflected in the assortment, the margin, and ultimately with our customers.

You will work directly with manufacturers in the Netherlands and abroad and interact frequently with colleagues within Supply Solutions, Sales, Supply Chain, and Marketing. And you will look beyond just Bidfood Netherlands. We are part of an international group and regularly work together with colleagues from other countries. You will share knowledge, align developments, and search together for opportunities to purchase more intelligently.

You will get to work as a Sourcing Manager. What is important in this role is that:

• You analyze markets, cost prices, and suppliers and use data to support your purchasing decisions.

• You actively search for producers in the Netherlands and on international markets and build a strong supplier network.

• You issue tenders, compare proposals, and negotiate on price, quality, delivery terms, and other commercial agreements.

• You draft the purchasing policy for your categories and translate the strategic purchasing plan into concrete actions and results.

• You visit suppliers in the Netherlands and abroad where necessary to build relationships, make agreements, or assess production and quality.

• You guide new private label products from sourcing to introduction and monitor planning, agreements, and deadlines.

• You coordinate with, among others, Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Quality, and Master Data, so that a new product is also rolled out well internally.

Ultimately, you ensure that we purchase the right products under the right conditions, that our assortment remains relevant, and that everything within your purchasing package runs smoothly. In doing so, you make the difference for Bidfood and our customers in foodservice.

• Hybrid working: at least three days in the office in Ede, otherwise we will look together at what works.
