Sterile Medical Device Technician

• You hold a diploma as a Sterile Medical Device Technician (MSMH)

• You work accurately and have an eye for quality and patient safety.

• You are a team player who collaborates pleasantly with colleagues within and outside the department.

• You are flexible and feel responsible for a smooth sterilization process.

• Salary based on knowledge and experience between €2,867 and €4,143 gross per month based on full-time employment (40+ hours/week) in accordance with the ZKN collective labor agreement

• 5% scarcity allowance on top of your gross monthly salary. You will receive this in addition to the salary mentioned above!

• An end-of-year bonus of 8.33% and holiday allowance of 8.33%

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer with a maximum of 80 km (one way). Do you travel by public transport? Then we reimburse these costs fully

• A fixed-term contract with a view to permanent employment

• With full-time employment, you receive 160 vacation hours and no less than 72 extra PLB hours per calendar year. The PLB hour budget has no expiration period

How you can make an impact as a Sterile Medical Device Technician

As a certified Sterile Medical Device Technician (MSMH), you are indispensable in guaranteeing safe care. Thanks to your work, doctors, OR assistants, and nurses can rely on perfectly cleaned and sterile instrumentation every day. You ensure that surgeries and treatments proceed safely and without problems. At our brand-new location in Capelle aan den IJssel, you will work with the latest, fully automated equipment. That means working in a modern, efficient, and ergonomic way. Additionally, we invest in you: with further training and courses, you will always stay up-to-date in your profession.

• You clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instrumentation according to the applicable guidelines and quality standards.

• You check instrument sets for completeness, quality, and functionality.

• You identify defects or deviations and ensure proper follow-up.

• You accurately register and process activities in the designated systems.

• You ensure that the operating rooms and treatment departments have sterile and ready-to-use instrumentation in a timely manner.

• You work from Monday to Friday in day or evening shifts. You work in 9-hour shifts, always within the hours of 07:00 to 22:30. In doing so, you rotate between three shifts:
  • 07:00 - 16:30
  • 08:00 - 17:30
  • 12:00 - 21:30

  We do not have on-call or night shifts. You are off on weekends and public holidays.

• You possess an MBO level of work and thought.
