Poort6 is looking for two new members for the Supervisory Board (RvC): an experienced chairperson and a member with a strong financial profile, who will also serve as chair of the audit committee. Experienced supervisors who want to contribute to good and affordable housing in Gorinchem through social commitment. Those who judge independently, seek connection, and collaborate based on trust and mutual respect. Do you want to use your experience as a chairperson or your financial expertise for this? Then read on!
“#WE: our identity and direction”
#WE has been the common thread in everything Poort6 does for years. In 2021, they chose this direction, with 'the will to connect' as their core value. Based on the conviction that they achieve more together than alone. Since then, #WE has become much more than a strategic document. It has become their identity. An attitude that employees, residents, and partners recognize.
At the beginning of 2026, Poort6 established its renewed strategic direction: #WE: the next chapter. With this, they continue the movement they have started and make room for what is needed now. Six themes form the compass: “We help build a city that is ready for tomorrow. Together, we help communities flourish. We offer a pleasant and suitable home. We look through the eyes of the residents. We work with heart and mind, using new technology. And we strengthen our connections.”
The social housing challenge for Poort6 is great, in the context of limited financial resources and a changing society. This requires sharp choices and supervision with both substance and a sense of proportion. More information, including the strategic direction and the annual report, can be found on the website of Poort6.

They are there for everyone who needs them: today, tomorrow, and in the future.
The Supervisory Board (RvC) of Poort6 consists of five members. They are complementary to one another and act together as supervisor, sounding board, and employer. At Poort6, supervision is explicitly teamwork. Each member brings their own expertise. Together, the members of the RvC bear the responsibility for thorough supervision across the full spectrum. The atmosphere within the board is engaged, informal, and constructive. There is room for sharpness, humor, and perspective.
