Requirements
What we're looking for
- Experience in consultancy and expertise within FP&A, or as referred to within EY: Business Planning, Reporting & Analytics (BPR&A), with specific experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Financial Planning
- Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) technology
- CFO-driven sustainability activities within ESG
- Knowledge of financial systems and tools (e.g., EPM, data platforms, ERP systems).
- Insight into KPIs and metrics used within BPR&A.
- Knowledge of market trends and emerging technologies within finance and operations.
- Full proficiency in Dutch and English (for this role we can exclusively hire fluent Dutch-speaking professionals, Dutch speakers only)
- Knowledge of account management, business development, and the consultancy sales cycle.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to structure and develop high-quality deliverables.
- Excellent problem-solving, facilitating, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrable experience in leading, coaching, and developing teams of (senior) consultants.
- Experience managing multiple engagements and stakeholders, exceeding client expectations, budget management, and risk management.
- Extensive experience in business development, networking, identifying opportunities, responding to RFPs, and presenting at events.
- Strong skills in financial support tools such as MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint); experience with planning tools, SAP SAC and/or SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft BI, ServiceNow, HighRadius, and BlackLine is a plus.
Nice to have
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as CMA/RC, CPA/RA, or RE, is a plus.
- Relevant technical business analyst and/or implementation manager certifications (e.g., SAP, Microsoft, Oracle).

What you'll do
As (Senior) Manager Business Planning, Reporting & Analysis (BPR&A), you will be part of the Business Consulting Finance team (BC Finance). You will work in multidisciplinary teams for the largest and most renowned companies and lead projects aimed at improving their business performance and realizing digital financial transformations. This includes, among other things, developing financial and integrated business plans, generating relevant and reliable management information and reports, and deploying advanced analytics and AI to improve management decision-making and strengthen performance.
We support CFOs in leveraging new technologies. Together, we focus on aligning the finance function with business objectives, with our solutions supporting both functional excellence and strategic ambitions.
- Advising in the areas of FP&A, Enterprise Performance Management, Finance Transformation, and Digital Finance.
- As (Senior) Manager, you will work closely with EY's senior leadership team in executing diverse Finance Transformation projects within Business Planning, Reporting & Analytics (BPR&A).
- Independently managing one or more BPR&A solutions, focused on financial and integrated business planning, enterprise performance management, and CFO-led sustainability initiatives.
- Designing scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions to support financial transformations, integrating client needs and aligning with market best practices.
- Leveraging data: delivering key insights based on (non-)financial data to enable CFOs to work in a more data-driven manner. Enabling true business partnering within finance, which is essential for sustainable growth and well-founded decision-making.
- Collaborating with C-level stakeholders: working intensively with CFOs and their teams, focusing on talent development, stimulating a culture of continuous improvement, and leading change processes.
- Managing projects from start to finish and ensuring compliance with planning, budget, and client expectations, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Supporting change management: ensuring that finance teams possess the right knowledge, skills, and competencies to effectively adopt new processes, tools, and technologies.
- Leading high-performing teams: motivating and managing diverse teams in line with EY's values. Sharing knowledge to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Building relationships and networks with a commercial focus: developing strong relationships with senior leaders at clients, understanding their key challenges, and translating them into new business opportunities together with EY colleagues.
- Personal development: continuously staying up-to-date with the latest developments in BPR&A and financial technology.
